An Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

An Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback, and provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions
Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening preparation, reservations, table allocation, and cleanliness standards
Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Supervise and guide team members during shifts, including briefings, training, and performance feedback
Manage staffing levels and labor costs in line with business needs
Drive operational efficiency and continuous service improvement
Maintain strong product knowledge, including menus, allergen information, and hotel facilities
Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Food and Beverage experience
- Basic English communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Guest-focused with a positive attitude
- Able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work shifts, including long or irregular hours
- Excellent grooming standards
- Willingness to develop team members and self
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
